Undoubtedly, thousands of people flocked to the Parc de l'Arsenal in the heart of Belfort from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening. It felt like being in the middle of a summer market, when in fact it was more like a magnificent museum just waiting to roll. The parade also mobilised a great many Belfort residents along its 4km route, a great moment, and as one of the elected officials present confided, he couldn't remember seeing so many people at the Arsenal for an event.
